Leslie M. Gattas
Leslie M. Gattas was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 1, 1966. She is a graduate of St. Agnes Academy in 1984 and received her Bachelor of Science undergraduate decree from Louisiana State University in 1988. She received her law degree from the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law, University of Memphis, Class of 1991. She was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1991. She is also admitted to the Mississippi Bar as well as the Arkansas Bar.
Upon graduation, Leslie served as a law clerk to the Honorable D. J. Alissandratos of the Thirtieth Judicial District at Memphis. She has been a member of the Memphis Bar Association since 1991, serving as a member of the Board of Directors as well as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-President and President of the Young Lawyers’ Division and Chair of the Public Service Committee. She is a member of the Association of Women Attorneys, having served as recording secretary. She also has served as an Associate and Barrister member in the American Inn of Court. Leslie is the 1998 recipient of the Midsouth Women in Business Award, the 2004 recipient of “One of the Fifty Women Who Make A Difference” award presented by Women’s Magazine and the 2004 recipient of the Sam A. Myar, Jr. Memorial Award presented by the Memphis Bar Association for outstanding service to the legal profession and the community, and a 2005 recipient of the “Top 40 Under 40” Award presented by the Memphis Business Journal. Leslie is the recipient of the Smart Award given by Girls, Inc. of Memphis in 2018.
Besides serving as the managing partner of Leslie Gattas & Associates, PLC, Leslie is a Fellow in the Memphis Bar Foundation and a member of the prestigious Lawyer’s Journal Club. She has been named a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an organization of leading practitioners in the filed of family law who are chosen for their high level of knowledge, skill and integrity. She is presently on the Board of Memphis Area Legal Services which provides legal representation at no charge to low income individuals and families facing critical legal issues. Leslie is also a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, of which the membership is by invitation only, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Leslie has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Tennessee to serve on the Alternate Dispute Resolution Commission which administers the procedure for training and approving mediators in the State of Tennessee.,
In addition to her law practice, she has served on the Board of Commission on Missing and Exploited Children. She has also served on the Board of Trustees of St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic, Inc., as well as serving as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for three (3) years, as she is a proud alumna of St. Agnes Academy.
In her spare time, Leslie enjoys yoga and spending time with her two sons, Carter (age 25) and Mac (age 22).

Jason R. Ridenour
Jason R. Ridenour is an Associate with Leslie Gattas & Associates, focused on representing clients in family law related matters, including divorce, alimony, child custody, child support and orders of protection. Jason has practiced with Leslie Gattas & Associates since February 2010.
Jason has represented client involving complex substantial marital estates, contentious child custody disputes, child abuse related litigation, Hague Convention litigation concerning international child abduction, and contempt litigation.
Prior to focusing his practice in 2010 on advising and representing clients in family law related matters, Jason had a broad scope of practice, including complex construction contracting disputes, business formation and dissolution, contract drafting, conservatorship and guardianship litigation, probate litigation and estate planning.
Jason is admitted to practice in Tennessee, including in the Western District Fedearl Court. He has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2007. From 2006 to 2007 Jason was the law clerk for two Shelby County Probate Court Judges. Jason graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Memphis Law School in 2007, where he was also an associate editor on the University of Memphis Law Review. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2001.

Zane S. Heller
Zane Heller is a native of Murphysboro, Illinois. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, where he earned his B.A. in Philosophy in 2016.
Zane relocated to Memphis to attend law school at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2019. While in law school, Zane served as an Associate Justice for the Moot Court Board. He also earned success as a moot court competitor, finishing as the runner-up in the Memphis Law Freshman Moot Court Competition and receiving the Best Oral Advocate Award in the Advanced Moot Court Competition.
Zane later achieved success on the national moot court level by earning a Top Five Appellate Brief Award in the 2017-2018 ABA competition and becoming a regional champion in the 2018-2019 ABA competition. In his final year of law school, Zane served as a law clerk for the Honorable Valerie L. Smith in Shelby County Circuit Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Zane served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge J. Ross Dyer at the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. He is proud to put his legal advocacy and writing skills to use for the clients of Leslie Gattas & Associates.

Rayna T. Robinson
Rayna is a 2022 graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Originally from southern Arkansas, Rayna attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English in 2019. While in law school, Rayna was a staff member for Volume 51 of the University of Memphis Law Review and selected to join the Editorial Board as an Articles Editor for Volume 52. Rayna also served as law clerk to the Honorable Gina C. Higgins in Shelby County Circuit Court during her third year of law school. Upon graduating and prior to joining the firm, Rayna served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable JoeDae L. Jenkins in Shelby County Chancery Court.
Rayna is a proud member of the Memphis Bar Association, the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Hillary W. Samuels
Hillary W. Samuels has been an Associate Attorney with Leslie Gattas & Associates since September 2024. Hillary represents clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support. Prior to joining Leslie Gattas & Associates, Hillary worked as an assistant public defender, and also worked in an estate law and probate practice. Hillary earned her Bachelor’s degree from Boston University in 2014 and graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in 2017. While at DePaul, Hillary was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
